Islam-Khodja Minaret

Islam-Khodja Minaret located in the historical part of Khiva city — Ichan-Kala, is the tallest minaret in the city at about 56.6 meters high. Its slender tower is decorated with bright belts of blue, turquoise, white and ochre tiles. The minaret was built at the beginning of the 20th century next to a madrasa of the same name and is famous for its magnificent view from the upper observation deck on the ancient architecture of Khiva.
