Pakhvan Khana Mausoleum

Pakhlon Mahmuda Mausoleum in Khiva is the main shrine of Ichan-Kala. Richly decorated with blue majolica and ceramics inside, it attracts visitors with its blue domes and symbolizes the spiritual heart of the city. Here lies poet, wrestler and philosopher Pakhlon Mahmud, whose name is linked to the history and culture of Khiva. Over time, the mausoleum became a burial place for local хан rulers.
