Kunya-Ark

Kunyarak — citadel in the center of the historical city of Khiva, formerly the political center of khans' power. The complex includes reception halls, palaces, mosque, mint and utility buildings. The name translates as "old fortress". Until the beginning of the 20th century, it was one of the residences of the khivan khans.
