Chorсу Covered Market

Chorsu Bazaar covered market in Shahrisabz's historical center was built in 1602 and is located at the intersection of ancient trade routes. This compact building with a dome layout and traditional brickwork is typical for medieval markets of Central Asia. Originally, it served as a place to trade fabrics, dishes, jewelry, books, and spices. Today, it remains an important architectural monument and historical environment of the ancient city.
