Mizdakhhan Complex

Mizdakhan Complex is located near Nukus city, in the outskirts of Khodjayli. It is a unique archaeological site combining ancient and medieval cultural layers reflecting the history of Khorezm and Karakalpakstan. Here one can trace the historical context of the region outside urban museums. Mizdakhan is also an important pilgrimage site and significant archaeological monument of the Aral area. Often visited together with Gyaur-Kala fortress.
