Chilpyuk

Chilpyk — Zoroastrian burial tower known as dakhma ("tower of silence"), situated near Nukus on the Amudarya riverbank. The structure dates back to ancient Khorezmic period and is estimated from the first century BCE to the first century CE. The tower stands on a hill and serves as an important historical landmark of the area.
