Jami Mosque (Kokand)

Jami Mosque in Kokand - an architectural complex built between 1819 and 1822 by order of Umar Khan. It includes a mosque, madrasa, khanaqa, prayer room, and a high minaret about 22.5 meters tall. The ayvan's distinctive feature is numerous painted wooden columns. The complex is located on Chorsu Square and listed as a national heritage site of Uzbekistan's material cultural legacy.
