Hujra-Museum Mukimi

The Mokhimi Museum-Hujra is located in Mi'en Khazrat Medressa in Kokand. Here an exhibition dedicated to the works of Uzbek poet Mukimi from the 19th century, considered the founder of Uzbek realism, is presented. The museum recreates the literary atmosphere of that time, while the term "hujra" reflects traditional living quarters in medressas where the poet lived and worked.
