Dahma-i-Shahan

Dakhma-i-Shahan — significant monument of the Khan period of Kokand, situated in the historical center of the city. It is the family burial place of Kokand khans, created upon initiative of poetess Mohlaraiyim Nadir, wife of Umar Khan. The complex serves as one of the key memorial objects of the city and contributes to understanding its dynastic memory and political history. It is included in popular tourist routes of Kokand.
