Poi-Kalyan

Poi-Kalyan is the central architectural complex of Bukhara, including the Karakhanid minaret Kalon (1127), Sheybanid mosque Kalon and Miri Arab madrasa of the 16th century. It is a monument reflecting the city's multi-century history as an important center of Islamic education. The complex unites buildings from different eras and serves as a symbol of Bukhara's historical significance.
