Kalyan Minaret

Kalyan Minaret is part of Po-i-Kalyan ensemble in Bukhara. It is one of the oldest surviving city monuments built during the Karakhanid period. The minaret is made from burnt brick and decorated with decorative bands featuring various brickwork patterns. UNESCO recognized it as an outstanding example of architectural artistry. Kalyan Minaret symbolizes the historical significance of Bukhara and is included within the protected area of the World Heritage site.
