Samani Mausoleum

Samani Mausoleum in Bukhara Park - an outstanding example of architecture from the 10th century, included on UNESCO's heritage list. Built in late 9th to early 10th centuries, it represents a rare specimen of early Islamic architecture in Central Asia. The mausoleum is renowned for its well-preserved walls made of baked brick and serves as the burial place of Ismail Samani, founder of the Samanid dynasty. Despite Mongol invasions, the building has remained virtually unchanged since its construction.
