Buyan-Kuli Khan Mausoleum

The Mausoleum of Buyan-Kuli-khan built around 1358 is a rare architectural monument of the Chagatai Khanate. Located in the eastern outskirt zone of Bukhara, in Fatkhabad, inside the mausoleum there are fragments of blue terracotta tiles preserved, while the portal is decorated with calligraphy featuring floral patterns. Carved mukarnas are adorned with organic designs, and in the dome some remains of six-sided pattern painting can be seen.
