Chor-Bakr

Chor-Bakr - family necropolis of influential Juybari sheikhs, situated near Bukhara about five kilometers west of the city. The road to it is lined with trees leading from the city's gates. Construction of the main buildings took place between 1560 and 1563, completion occurred around 1568. Here lies Sheikh Abu Bakr Saad who passed away in 970. The complex is part of the historical cultural landscape of the Bukharan oasis.
