Zabaykalsky Regional Ethnographic Museum named after A.K. Kuznetsov in Chita is one of the oldest museums in Siberia and the Far East. Located on Babushkina Street, it is an important part of the city's cultural heritage. The museum houses extensive collections in archaeology, ethnography, nature and history of Zabaykalye. Exhibitions showcase ethnic groups from the region such as Buryats, Evenks and Russian population. The museum helps to better understand the history and culture of historical center of Zabaykalye.
