December Square

Decabristov Square in Chita is located near Lenina Street and is an important part of the city's history. It reminds us of the exile of Decemberists, participants of the 1825 uprising, to Transbaikalia. There is also Pushkin's Scientific Library here, contributing to the preservation of cultural memory. The square is included in tour routes introducing visitors to the historical center of the city.
