Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve is located on the site of the former Spaso-Preobrazhensky Male Monastery, which ceased to exist in 1787. Included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005, the historical center of the city boasts architectural monuments and cultural heritage. It houses a collection of over 350,000 exhibits, including unique finds from "The Tale of Igor's Campaign." Founded in 1865, the museum is an important scientific and cultural institution in the region.
