Yaroslavl Puppet Theatre

Yaroslavl State Puppet Theatre is located at: Yaroslavl city, Street Freedom, 23. Founded in 1932 with support from society "Friend of Children". Has rich history of performances during World War II and relocations: initially situated in separate building on Committee Street, later operated on Youth Square together with YOUNG THEATRE. Today known for its unique puppet systems and exhibition of antique puppets from past shows. Member of international union of puppet theatre artists UNIMA since 1966.
