Christ's Birth Church

The Church of Christ's Birth is situated in the historical center of Yaroslavl, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple was consecrated in 1644 and originally had five domes covered with green and yellow glazed tiles. Inside, the southern annex is dedicated to Five Persian Martyrs, while the altar contained an altar dedicated to Saints Joachim and Anna. The facades of the porch and gallery, as well as the parapets of the bell tower, are decorated with ceramic tiles.
