Nikola Rublev Church

The Church of Nikolay Rublyono located on Kotorosl River Embankment in the historical center of Yaroslavl, inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List. The architectural monument was built in 1695 and retains many features of its original appearance. In 1922 the temple ceased its activities, and after the restoration in 1918 it housed the Restoration Department of Yaroslavl Art Museum. The stone building of the late 17th century stands next to the Strelka, recalling the rich history of the city.
