Ярославль, Богоявленская пл., 12
Bogoyavlensky Cathedral in Yaroslavl, built from 1684 to 1693, stands out for its bright multicolored glazed tiles, which have become a symbol of the city. Inside the church there is preserved painting with 320 images and original frescoes of the late 17th century. The iconostasis also belongs to this period. Located on Bogoyavlenskaya Square, the cathedral harmoniously fits into the ensemble of Kotorosl Embankment and serves as an important element of urban architecture.
