Fedor Volkov Monument

The monument to Fyodor Grigoryevich Volkov is situated on Volkov Square in Yaroslavl near his namesake theater; it was installed in 1973 featuring Volkov's full-length statue facing the theater. The opening ceremony included actors from Volkov Theater. An inscription on the pedestal commemorates the founder of Russia's first public theater. This monument is an object of regional cultural heritage.
