City History Museum of Yaroslavl

Yaroslavl City History Museum is located on Volga Embankment in a historical building of merchant V.Ya. Kuznetsov from late 19th century. The main exhibition covers ten centuries of city existence with archaeological finds, ancient icons, weapons, coins and household items. Separately presented are history of medicine and apothecary business. Interiors retain atmosphere of merchant mansion with an arcade of rooms, stairs and plasterwork.
