V. V. Tereshkova Cultural and Educational Centre

Cultural and educational center named after V.V. Tereshkova is situated on Tchaikovsky Street in Yaroslavl. It houses a modern planetarium with three-dimensional star sky visualization, an observatory, "History of Cosmonautics" hall and "Trans-Forces" complex. The dome of the Star Hall has an area of 300 sq. m displaying over seven thousand five hundred stars. The center was opened in 2011 and named after the first woman cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova. Nearby there is St. Nikolay Wet Church from the 17th century.
