Pyotr I Mansion-Museum "Botek"

The Pyotr I Museum-residence "Botik" is located in Ves'kovo village, Pereslavl-Zalessky. Founded in 1803 as Russia's first provincial museum. It houses the sole surviving boat "Fortuna" from Pyotr I's toy fleet. On the estate there is a stone watchtower for sailors and an obelisk laid by Grand Princes Romanov in memory of Pyotr the Great. The residence has architecture formed after the construction of the White Palace in 1853.
