Voronezh Regional Museum of Local Lore

The Voronezh Regional Museum of Local Lore is situated at Plehanovskaya Street, 29 in Voronezh. It was founded on September 9th, 1894 under the auspices of the Voronezh Gubernatorial Statistical Committee. Exhibits showcase items illustrating the region's history from ancient times to space exploration. Over 3,000 exhibits are displayed in 18 halls. Among its collections are documents. By the start of World War II, the collection included approximately 100,000 items. The institution belongs to the Voronezh Region.
