Vоронеж State Academic Drama Theatre named after A.V. Koltsova
Воронеж, проспект Революции, 55
The Voronezh State Academic Drama Theatre named after A.V. Koltsov traces its history back to 1787 when the first theater was established on the grounds of General Governor Vasily Chertkov's residence. The current building was constructed in 1821 at the city's center. In 1959, the theatre was named after poet Aleksey Koltsov. During World War II, the building suffered significant damage from bombings and was subsequently restored.
