The Voronezh Philharmonic is located at Lenin Square, building 11A. The first symphony orchestra performance after the war took place here on December 30, 1944 with the performance of Tchaikovsky's Fourth Symphony. The building was taken over by the philharmonic in 1961. Previously, it housed the Theatre of Musical Comedy and the first electric theater "Taumatograph". The philharmonic traces its history back to October 1937. In 1915 an addition was made to the building.
