Uspensky Admiralty Cathedral
Voronezh, Sofi Perovskoy St, 9
Uspensky Admiralteysky temple in Voronezh is situated on Sofii Perovskoy Street. It is one of the oldest churches of the city, built in the forms of ancient Russian architecture and supplemented with elements of classicism in the refectory and three-tier bell tower. Here important ceremonial events related to launching military ships took place. In September 1996, the naval flag of Russia was consecrated in the temple. Today, an exhibition dedicated to the history of the Russian fleet has been opened in the church.
