The Pokrovsky Cathedral in Voronezh is situated at Bekhtereva Street, 36A. Consecrated in 1841 by Archbishop Anthony (Smirnitsky), it served as the cathedral of the Voronezh Eparchy from 1948 to 2009. Built between 1833 and 1841 by architect I.A. Blitsyn, it reflects the style of Russian classicism. Its history traces back to its first documented reference in 1615.
