Pyotrovsky Square

Pyotrovsky Sqare in Voronezh was laid out in the XIX century. After the war it was restored with a new figure of Pyotr on the historical pedestal. The square is a regional nature monument and protected under decrees from 1980 and 1998. Rare plants grow here such as black pine, pseudotsuga menziesii, juniper, heart-leaved linden, weeping birch and ash tree. The total area of the protected territory is 0.82 hectares.
