Oscar Elias Mandelstam Monument

The monument to Osip Emilevich Mandelshtam was installed in Orlyonok Park in Voronezh. It depicts the poet standing full height with his head raised and hand on his chest. Dedicated to the seventy-year anniversary of his death. Nearby there is a platform near the house on Friedrich Engels Street where the poet lived during his exile. An annual memorial meeting takes place here on September 2nd. The sculptor is Lazar Gadaev, while architect Alexander Gagkaev took part.
