Kitten from Lizyukova Street Monument

In Voronezh, on General Lizyukov Street, there is the only Russian monument to an animated kitten from the eponymous cartoon. The sculpture is installed in Park "Mirny" opposite cinema "Mir". The original aluminum version was replaced with an anti-vandal item made of stainless steel due to frequent damage. The idea for installation belongs to the editor-in-chief of newspaper "Molodoy Komunar", Valery Mal'tsev. Kitten Vasya is a character from the work of Voronezh writer Vitaly Zlotnikov.
