Glinka Monument

The monument to Academician Konstantin Dmitrievich Glinka is situated in the park named after him in the city of Voronezh. It is a sculptural composition made of sheet bronze consisting of a bust of the scientist and a complexly shaped pedestal forming an integral design solution. Glinka was the first rector of the Voronezh Agricultural Institute, which from 1967 to 1991 bore his name. The scientist himself chose the location for the institute on the outskirts of the city. The monument is located in front of the main building of the Voronezh State Agrarian University.
