Andrey Platonov Monument

In Platonov Sqare of Voronezh there is a monument to writer Andrey Platonov. A bronze figure depicts him walking forward with his coat flowing. The creators of the sculpture are sculptors Ivan Dikunov and Elza Pak. The architectural part was designed by local architects under the leadership of Leonid Yanovskiy. It was cast at the Voronezh Excavator Plant named after Comintern. The monument is dedicated to native son Andrey Platonov whose real name was Klimentov.
