Alexander S. Pushkin Monument

The monument to Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin is installed in the poet's square named park in Voronezh. It depicts a half figure of the author holding a scroll in his right hand. The sculpture was placed on a cylindrical pedestal inside a rotunda designed by architect Leonid Yanovsky. The monument was opened on June 6, 1999, to commemorate the two-hundredth anniversary of the poet's birth and was donated free of charge by sculptors to the city.
