Koltsovsky Sqare

Koltsovsky Sqare is situated on Lenin Square in Voronezh and is a regional nature monument. Its history dates back to the second half of the 19th century when a memorial to poet Aleksey Koltsov was installed there. In 1877 the first fountain appeared, which was replaced in 1977 with one of the earliest color-and-music fountains in the USSR. Today the square features a light-and-music fountain, making it a popular spot for city residents' recreation and culture.
