Stone Bridge

Stone Bridge in Voronezh connects Karl Marx Street and Chernyshevsky Street. Built at the end of the 19th century according to architect Ivan Blictsyn's project initiated by Governor Nikolay Krivtsov. Previously there was a steep descent of Bogoslovskaya street which was reinforced simultaneously with the bridge construction. This is the oldest surviving structure of the city about ten meters long, known for its inconvenient intersection called "wolf pit". Before the revolution, the street carried names Old Moscow and Bogoslovskaya.
