Blagoveshchensky Cathedral

Blagoveschensky Cathedral is located in Voronezh on Prospekt Revolutsii, 14V. It is the largest Orthodox church in the city, built in the Russian-Byzantine style according to the project of architect V.P. Shevelev. The building's height reaches 85 meters, and the highest point of the bell tower - 97 meters. The cathedral was laid with the blessing of Patriarch of Moscow Alexius II and was built from 1998 to 2009. Today it serves as the main church of the Voronezh Metropolitan See of the Russian Orthodox Church.
