Blagoveshchensky Cathedral

Blagoveshchensky Cathedral is situated at Revolution Avenue, 14V in Voronezh. It is a five-domed church with a cruciform plan including an upper part and underground crypt. A monument to Bishop Mitrofan stands before the cathedral, who was the city's first bishop. The bell tower crowns the dome. The cathedral was consecrated by Patriarch Alexius II on November 15, 1998 and symbolizes the spiritual revival of the region.
