Simeon Stylites Church

The Church of St. Simon the Stylite in Veliky Ustyug is situated on Engels Street. It is a new significant architectural monument of the city dedicated to the ancient Orthodox ascetic St. Simon the Stylite. The temple reflects the diversity of local church architecture styles outside the traditional Cathedral Court and highlights the importance of Veliky Ustyug as an essential center of religious culture in the Vologda region.
