Ivan the Stylite Cathedral

Ivan the Stylite Cathedral is located on the Cathedral Courtyard in Veliky Ustyug. It is an important element of the Cathedral Courtyard ensemble, which also includes the Assumption and Prokopiy Cathedrals. The temple is dedicated to Ivan the Stylite, whose name is associated with the spiritual life of the city. Together with other monuments, the cathedral forms a unique northern panorama of churches reflecting the religious traditions and history of Veliky Ustyug.
