Golden Gate Bridge

Golden Gates in Vladimir built in 1164 by Prince Andrew Bogolyubsky are the city's oldest surviving structure. It is a defensive and triumphal arch that marked the ceremonial entrance to the New City. Today there is an overgate church with a military-historical exhibition including a diorama of the storming of Vladimir by Baty's army in 1238. The stone foundation of the gates dates back to the Middle Ages; also preserved is iron hardware.
