The Vladimir Academic Regional Drama Theatre is situated at Dvoryanskaya Street, 4 in Vladimir. Founded in 1971, it has become one of Russia's oldest theaters since then. The building features a monument to provincial actors, sculptural composition depicting characters from A. Ostrovsky's play "The Forest" - Schaehtlevtsa and Neschaehtlevtsa. The theater is known for productions such as "The Forest", the stage production "Andrey Bogolyubsky" on the new stage, and historical drama "Historical Mural". In 1998, the theatre was awarded the title of academic.
