Uspensky Cathedral in Vladimir — one of the oldest churches in the city, built in the 12th century and serving as the main church of Vladimir-Suzdal Russia. It became a model for many subsequent constructions, including Moscow Kremlin. Inside are unique frescoes by Andrey Rublev and other artworks from the 12th to 19th centuries. Many Russian princes were married here, including Alexander Nevsky, Dmitry Donskoy, and Ivan Kalita.
