Kozlov Val

Kozlov Val — section of ancient earth fortifications of Vladimir formed in the 12th century. Here stands a water tower built in 1868 connected with establishment of city water supply system. Today the rampart has lost its military significance but remains as part of historical landscape of western entrance to the town. Nearby there is famous attraction — Zolotye Vorota.
