Dmitrievsky Cathedral

Dmitrievsky Cathedral in Vladimir is situated on Big Moscow Street. Its outer walls are decorated with over a thousand carved stones depicting King David. Inside there remains part of the 12th century frescoes. The cathedral is included in UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1992 and was built between 1194-1197 during Prince Yuri Vsevolod Bolshoe Gnezdo's reign. It was a princely church.
