Resurrection Church

Suzdal, Torgovaya Sq, 63b

The Church of the Resurrection in Suzdal, built in 1720, stands on the Trade Square. It replaced a burned-down wooden church with the same name. The building is designed as a tetrakontahédron with an intricate frieze of keeled arches and decorated with three rows of custom bricks. The southern facade features a grand porch with arches and round pillars. Adjacent to it is the winter Kazan Church from 1739.
