Alexandrovsky Monastery

Alexandrovsky Monastery is located in Suzdal on Gasteva Street. Founded in 1240 by Alexander Nevsky in honor of victory over Swedes. After the fire of 1608-1610 it was restored only in 2006. Built in 1695, the new monastery church stands on the banks of the Kamenka River.
