Uljanov Oblast Regional Museum of Local Lore named after I. A. Goncharov

Ulyanovsk Regional Museum of Local Lore named after I.A. Goncharov houses collections of pilot Polbin and archaeologist Polyivanov. Founded in 1895, it reflects the development of the city from the 19th to the 20th century. Branches include historical memorial center-museum Goncharov and literary museum "House of Yazykovs".
