Cathedral Square

Cathedral Square is situated in the historical center of Ul'yanovsk, near New Venets Boulevard. Previously it housed Nikolsky Winter Cathedral and Troitsky Summer Cathedral. The square is associated with the ensemble of old Simbirsk and has an historical name restored after the dissolution of the USSR. It serves as a venue for city events and strolls; from there you can see historic streets of the city's center.
